The Town of Culpeper Public Works Department will begin culvert repairs and shoulder work tomorrow, August 20th, through Thursday, August 21st. Weather permitting, the work hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The road work will take place on Laurel Street near the intersection of Willow Lawn Drive and require a detour. Traffic heading west towards the hospital will be detoured onto Willow Lawn Drive towards Sunset Lane. Traffic heading east towards Orange Road will not be impacted.

Motorists should expect delays on this corridor and are advised to take alternate routes as available. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to pay attention to changing conditions within the work zone.
