The Town of Culpeper Public Works Department will be performing unidirectional flushing (UDF)
of water distribution in the Mountain Run, Lake Culpeper, Westover and East Side Areas,
including, Lovers Lane, Industry Drive, McDevitt Drive and Maddox Drive, beginning Monday,
8/11/2025 through Tuesday, 8/26/2025, weather permitting. Flushing crews will be working
daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

A safety workzone will be in place during operations.  Motorists are asked to pay attention to
changing roadway conditions and drive slowly around utility work zones.   

Some discoloration of watershould be expected, but the condition should be temporary.  Should
water discoloration persist, please call the Public Works Department at (540) 825-0285.
