Culpeper Christian School is partnering with Funds2Orgs, a U.S. based fundraising company, to tackle an initiative that makes a huge impact! 

 

From September 8th to November 8th, we are collecting pairs of used and new shoes! They can be any size, style, season or color! Keep in mind, this includes: slippers, crocs, flip flops, dance shoes, water shoes, work boots, rain boots, sneakers, heels, etc. 

 

What happens to the shoes we collect? The shoes we collect get refurbished and shipped to countries like Haiti, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. In these countries, our shoes will create jobs and new hope for people in need. 

 

Where do we bring them? Send shoes in with your students, or bring them to the front office. We may also have a drive thru drop-off day in the future. 

 

Why? Our students will benefit from this fundraiser, not only financially, but spiritually. The Bible calls believers to be compassionate, generous, and humble in meeting the needs of others, reflecting God's love through actions. CCS will also earn money for each pair donated. The more shoes we collect, the more money our school will receive! 

 

We are setting a goal of 2,250 pairs of shoes! Encourage your students to ask your churches, sports teams, relatives and neighbors for shoe donations as well! Shoes can be dropped off to the front office during school hours. If we meet our goal, the students will receive a school wide ice cream party!
