Job Description
The Director of Education position leads development, implementation, and evaluation of efforts related to student academic achievement.   Manages and evaluates school staff on an annual basis and as needed for disciplinary action as well as oversees school policies, curricula and faculty according to the department of education standards and state licensing.
 
Qualifications:
 Minimum:  Must be a licensed teacher with 4 years of experience providing special education to a diverse group of students with behavioral, developmental, and psychiatric issues teaching inside of a classroom and 2 years of experience in a school administrator role; Must successfully complete all new hire orientation and training requirements; Must participate in a minimum of 15 hours annually of in-service training applicable to specific job duties and responsibilities.

Preferred:  Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Education from an accredited school or university
