Registration for Friends of the Rappahannock's upriver summer camps are now open! Our half-day camps from 9 am - 1 pm, held throughout June and July, are a perfect way for your child to engage with the outdoors, learn about river health and ecology, gain confidence through river safety lessons, and, most importantly, explore and discover the wonders that the river has to offer. We offer summer camps for students in rising 1st-6th grade at two beautiful locations, each providing unique experiences. 

During June, camp will be held at Riverside Preserve in Fauquier County along the banks of the Rappahannock River. In July, camp will be held at Float on Farms, one of FOR's private properties in Madison County, tucked on a little piece of paradise on the Robinson River. Campers will encounter and learn about flora and fauna, play interactive games, and build friends as they explore these beautiful rivers.
