St. James Church Site Commemorative Church Service
11th annual St. James Church Site Commemorative Church Service on the Brandy Station Battlefield. Service will be led by Rev. Tom Hayes of Christ Episcopal Church in Brandy Station using the original Civil War chalice with readings from the original Bible of St. James Church. The church was destroyed by Union troops during the winter occupation of 1863-1864. Benches at the site or bring a folding chair. Reception following at the Brandy Station Foundation's Graffiti House.

St. James site entrance is a short walk from American Battlefield Trust parking lot at St. James Church Road & Beverly Ford Road near the Culpeper Airport in Elkwood. In the event of rain, service at Christ Church, 14586 Alanthus Road, Brandy Station. Graffiti House address is 19484 Brandy Road, Brandy Station.
