The Culpeper Wellness Foundation and the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation are again collaborating with Center for Nonprofit Excellence to offer free nonprofit management workshops for local nonprofits in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties. All workshops will be held at the Daniel Technology Center. To register, please email Jenn Sweigart, PATH Resource Center Manager, at jsweigart@pathforyou.org. If you don't graph your data you cannot really use it. Simply looking at a graph of something changing over time or comparing how many people of different ages you have enrolled in your program can spur discussion for days! Graphing data not only makes it clearer, but it can also reduce the knee-jerk overwhelm or boredom that often arises from looking at spreadsheets. Graphing data maximizes the value of your data. If you know how to make a graph in Excel, but don't know how to best organize it for graphing, aren't sure what type of charts to use, and want some basic tips for making graphs more readable, this beginner's course is for you.
